Good sites for Parents and Kids
Throughout the year, I will try to give you good sites to help with homework and to provide some alternatives to learning those dreaded math facts. Some have very good parents pages and some just have practice drills and games for your children. Please share any sites you especially like so I can include them for others.
www.bookadventure.org
This is a great site sponsored by Sylvan Learning Center. It has a good parent
page and helpful homework tips. The best part is your child can take
comprehension tests on books they have read and earn prizes. I will probably use
this site in my classroom but you can also use at home.

www.yahooligans.com This is
a great site for homework help, research. and practice drills. Click on the
School Bell and the subject you are looking for. The math section has many
drills and games that can really help kids.
